The plate stands worked perfectly in my beach dollhouse.

As mentioned in the description, the slight roughness of the material helps to keep the plate in place. This is relatively large for a 1:12 setting, but it's good for larger platters, bowls, and trays. These would look especially good in a modern setting, I think.

Metal pots, trays, ceramics, foodstuff are individually wrapped in tissue and placed in small boxes. I bought several items for my new Maileg mice house and each item is adorable, priced decently, very well made. This plate stand works for books & the tray I bought. I was so impressed I'm going back for more!
